A lost lamb stood drinking by a pond one day. A hungry wolf came and was happy to see the lamb.
The Iamb looked so little and helpless. The wolf decided to have some fun first.
"How dare you play in my pond and stir up all the mud!" the wolf shouted.
"But, your greatness, do not be unhappy! I cannot dirty the water you are drinking there. Remember, you are there and I am here." said the lamb.
"You did! And I have heard that you told lies about me last year! the wolf growled.
"How could I? I was born this year." pleaded the lamb.
“It wasn't you, it was your brother”
"I have no brothers."
"Well," said the wolf ,angrily, "It was someone in your family anyway. But no matter who it was, I don't care.” In a flash, the wolf caught hold of the poor lamb and carried it off into the forest.
I saw a bat in school last Friday. It was a huge surprise to me.
I was walking around the school garden when it flew past me. I was curious about where it lived so I followed.
The bat flew up and down. It was so speedy that I had to run to catch up.
Then, it flew round a tree and into a bush. I could not see it anymore! Disappointed, I decided to walk back to my classroom instead.
Suddenly, I saw a shadow. It was the bat! It flew into a shed. I ran to the shed I could see a hoe, a spade and other gardening tools.
"Where is the bat?" I wondered.
Then, I heard something. I looked up. A family of bats hung from the roof. They were sleeping. I closed the door quietly and tiptoed away.
